Role Description

The Insurance Coordinator cum Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah.

This role is responsible for greeting and registering patients, managing front desk operations, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments in a professional and welcoming manner.

The position involves coordinating insurance-related activities, including verifying patient insurance coverage, processing insurance claims, and liaising with insurance providers to resolve queries or discrepancies.

The Insurance Coordinator cum Receptionist also updates patient records, handles billing-related inquiries, and supports smooth patient flow while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to clinic policies and procedures.

The role requires close collaboration with medical and administrative staff to ensure efficient service and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of insurance processes, including Insurance and Health Insurance.
  • Experience handling Insurance Claims and related documentation.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a focus on patient-centric service.
  • Effective Communication skills, both spoken and written, for interacting with patients, colleagues, and insurance representatives.
  • Proficiency in using clinic management or hospital information systems, scheduling tools, and basic office software.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a medical front desk, reception, or insurance coordination role is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is an advantage.
