Full-time, on-site Insurance Coordinator role based at AL NAHRAIN MEDICAL CENTER 1 in Ajman, UAE.
Manages patient insurance processes and supports a smooth, transparent financial experience.
Responsibilities
- Verify coverage, explain benefits, and accurately record patient insurance information.
- Submit claims, follow up on pending claims, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate approvals and payments with insurers.
- Respond to patient insurance inquiries and collaborate with clinical and billing teams.
- Maintain records and support compliance with relevant insurance and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong insurance process knowledge and hands-on insurance and health insurance administration experience.
- Experience submitting, tracking, and resolving insurance claims.
- Proficiency in medical billing or healthcare administration systems; UAE healthcare insurance regulations knowledge is required.
- Previous experience in a medical center, hospital, or clinic insurance department is required.
- Customer service, communication, accuracy, organizational, and time management skills; able to work in a fast-paced medical center.
Beneficial education
- A relevant diploma or degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is beneficial.
