Responsibilities
- Support Adjusters in the management of a varied portfolio of property insurance claims.
- Deliver a professional end-to-end claims handling service, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the claim lifecycle.
- Review and establish policy coverage, applying policy terms and conditions accurately and consistently.
- Manage First Notification of Loss (FNOL) interactions, gathering key information and setting clear expectations with customers and stakeholders.
- Liaise with policyholders, brokers, contractors, and other stakeholders to progress claims efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate claim records and ensure service level agreements are met.
Essential
Previous experience within the insurance sector, ideally in a Claims Handling, Claims Administration or FNOL environment.
Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
A positive, initiative-taking and customer-focused approach.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
High level of diligence and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Desirable
Previous experience handling property claims, including domestic and/or commercial claims.
Understanding of policy coverage and claims investigation processes.
Experience of working within a customer service-driven environment.
Progress towards, or interest in obtaining, relevant insurance qualifications.
