Instrumentation CAD designer

Your Activities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD for mechanical and instrumentation systems.
• Prepare layout drawings, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards such as ASME and ISA and project specifications.
• Collaborate with Sales and customers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
• Review and interpret job orders and client specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure timely execution of job orders.
• Track job order progress and update documentation accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of revisions, approvals, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure version control.
• Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.

Your Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD design, preferably in industrial or process plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation components such as valves, sensors, and piping.
• Experience with job order systems or ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 and ISA standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D; knowledge of other CAD tools such as SolidWorks or EPLAN.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
