Basic Qualifications

  • A BS degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical power distribution design, panel layout, or industrial/facility electrical systems, including field troubleshooting and installation. Working knowledge of electrical engineering principles, electrical codes, and applicable industry standards. Experience interpreting and developing electrical drawings and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting industrial, research, laboratory, or facility electrical systems. Experience supporting electrical design and construction projects. Knowledge of power distribution systems and power electronics. Experience troubleshooting electrical or electronic systems using standard laboratory or diagnostic equipment. Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar drafting/design software. Familiarity with DOE laboratory environments, nuclear facilities, or regulated technical operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Special Requirements: Work involves various physical requirements and working conditions. As such, a pre-hire physical will be required after offer.
