Role overview
Institutional Sales / Client Coverage role focused on clients across the UAE and wider Gulf region.
The role supports the firm’s Dubai office and broader Middle East business.
Responsibilities
- Develop institutional client relationships and identify opportunities to expand the firm’s client base.
- Introduce Chinese and global capital-markets products and solutions to clients.
- Coordinate tailored solutions with investment banking, capital markets, research, and other teams in China and overseas.
- Participate in client meetings, roadshows, presentations, and other market-facing activities.
- Monitor regional markets, share insights with clients, and communicate market and client feedback internally.
- Coordinate resources to execute client engagements and support regional outreach, brand building, and client events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in capital markets, investment banking, institutional sales, client coverage, or related financial services.
- UAE or wider Gulf experience is highly preferred.
- Strong regional financial-market knowledge, institutional relationships or client-development ability, and a proven business-development track record.
- Strong presentation, communication, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
- China-markets knowledge is sought; experience with Chinese financial institutions or China-related clients is preferred.
- Commercial, proactive, results-oriented approach, with collaboration, integrity, and ability to work in an international environment.
