Installation Engineer (ANPR)

Job Overview

System Installation and Comissioning

• Install, configure, and commission:
• ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems
• CCTV surveillance systems (IP & Analog)

• Access Control Systems

• Barrier gates, bollards, loop detectors, intercom systems, and other ELV devices
• Perform structured cabling, conduit installation, cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and termination.
• Install and configure NVRs, DVRs, switches, controllers, and networking equipment.
• Ensure proper alignment and calibration of cameras, ANPR systems, and parking devices.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting during installation and commissioning stages.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for installed systems.
• Provide technical support during project handover and after-sales service.

Project Coordination

• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare installation requirements.
• Ensure project completion within timelines and quality standards.
• Documentation and Compliance
• Prepare installation reports, testing reports, and commissioning documents.
• Maintain records of equipment, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• Follow company safety procedures and site regulations at all times.

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Telecommunications
• Information Technology
• Or related technical field

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in:
• CCTV systems
• ELV systems
• ANPR solutions

• Parking Management Systems

• Experience in UAE/GCC projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
• IP networking and structured cabling
• CCTV and surveillance systems
• Access control systems
• Parking and gate barrier systems
• ELV system integration
• Ability to configure IP devices and network equipment.
• Familiarity with leading brands and technologies in security systems.

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Team player with strong work ethic

• UAE Driving License

• Certifications related to CCTV, networking, or ELV systems
• Experience with integrated smart parking and security platforms
