Inspector II, Petroleum

What you’ll do

• Perform inspections on product and chemical barges
• Conduct inventories on shore tanks
• Record complete and detailed time logs for all jobs worked
• This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.
• Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• One-year minimum petroleum inspection experience, and able to work barges
• Ability to travel
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70ft tall and able to carry approximately 50 pounds, at a time.
• Ability to acquire and maintain an IFIA Certification, if not already certified
• Ability to acquire and maintain an TWIC Card
• Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
• IFIA Certified
• TWIC Card
• Medium to advanced computer skills
