Join RNIB as an Insight Analyst supporting understanding of customers and supporters.
Use data analysis to identify trends and provide insight for decisions across services, customer experience and income generation.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse customer and supporter data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities.
- Produce reports, management information and insight for projects and decisions.
- Explore supporter value, lifetime value, customer and supporter journeys, and retention.
- Present complex analysis clearly to different audiences.
- Use SQL and Excel with analytical and reporting tools including R, Python, SPSS/SAS, FastStats or Crystal Reports.
- Work with colleagues to improve data quality, value and use.
- Coordinate with external suppliers on data transfers, analysis and reporting requirements.
What we’re looking for
- Experience using databases to analyse data and produce reports, insight and management information.
- Fundraising, sales, customer insight or marketing experience is desirable.
- Experience with CRM databases.
- Strong Excel and reporting and analysis tool experience.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into meaningful insight.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of data protection and data accuracy.
Salary and contract
- Salary is £36,000 per year.
- Permanent, full-time role with 35 contractual hours per week.
Location and working pattern
- Hybrid working in London or Peterborough.
