About the role
GC International is hiring an Inside Sales Engineer to join its team in Dubai.
The role involves understanding customer requirements, recommending engineering solutions, preparing proposals, and supporting business development.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across assigned industries.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical quotations, estimates, proposals, and tender responses.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
- Coordinate with engineering and commercial teams to provide accurate solutions.
- Follow up with customers, track issues, and support problem resolution.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity, forecast, and pipeline reports.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in technical sales or industrial equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and ability to learn technical product specifications quickly.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in customer management and solution selling.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with valves, pumps, instrumentation, mechanical equipment, or other industrial products is preferred.
- Familiarity with GCC industrial sectors and customer environments is preferred.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills are preferred.
