Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Infrastructure Draughtsman, based in Abu Dhabi.
The role involves creating detailed technical drawings and plans for infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and site layouts.
Responsibilities
include preparing CAD drawings, collaborating with engineers and project teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, making revisions based on feedback, and maintaining project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software, with the ability to create detailed infrastructure drawings.
- Knowledge of civil engineering design principles, cadastral mapping, and utilities layout planning.
- Strong ability to interpret and translate engineering sketches and specifications into accurate technical drawings.
- Understanding of local and international standards in infrastructure and urban planning projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in all technical documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, architects, and other team members.
- Qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field. A diploma or technical certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in infrastructure projects, ideally in the Middle East, is highly advantageous.
