Infusion RN - Full-time!

• Provide specialized home infusion therapy services, including IV initiation, administration, monitoring, dressing changes, blood draws, and pump programming.
• Assess patients and develop individualized infusion plans of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medications, line care, and treatment expectations.
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacies, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective care.
• Monitor patients for infusion reactions, side effects, and clinical changes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and ongoing competency programs.
• Assist with coordination care between physicians and specialty pharmacies

• Home infusion RNs enjoy a flexible schedule, high level of autonomy, and accumulate a recurring patient caseload
• Home Infusion patients are generally on service for years/a lifetime, you become the expert on your patients
• Home Infusion RNs have the opportunity to be trained on and administer specialty biologics, IVIG, rare disease management and obtain the required certifications for administration
• Venture Forthe provides Infusion RNs a pathway to a company sponsored Immunoglobulin Certified Nurse (IgCN) certification
• Home Infusion RNs become experts on administration and monitoring of patients receiving specialty Medications

Work Environment This position involves travel to patient homes and community settings throughout the service area.

The role may require lifting and moving equipment and supplies in accordance with job requirements.

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Infusion therapy experience strongly preferred, including IV therapy, PICC lines, central line care, biologics, TPN, IV antibiotics, and hydration therapy.
• Home care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in varied home environments.

$45/Hour
