Role Description
The Infrastructure Manager at مؤسسة أمان تك للتوعية والتثقيف المالي will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT and facility infrastructure to support financial awareness and education programs.
This part-time, on-site role based in Dubai includes managing servers, networks, and end-user devices; monitoring system performance; and ensuring uptime for core applications and platforms.
The Infrastructure Manager will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to plan upgrades, implement security policies, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
Responsibilities also include maintaining backup and disaster recovery plans, documenting infrastructure configurations, and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection and security standards.
The role involves proactive capacity planning, identifying optimization opportunities, and providing hands-on technical support to team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and end-user devices in a small to medium-sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routing, switching) and systems administration for Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Experience implementing and maintaining IT security controls, including access management, patching, endpoint protection, and data protection practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes to ensure service reliability.
- Experience coordinating with external vendors, service providers, and internal teams to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within scope.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues efficiently.
- Excellent documentation skills for infrastructure diagrams, procedures, standards, and configuration records.
- Ability to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption to operations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Network+/Security+, cloud certifications) are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working on-site in Dubai in a part-time capacity, with flexibility to support occasional off-hours maintenance or incident response.
