Infrastructure Engineer

About This Role

Key Accountabilities:

• Managing and oversee project execution related to data Center and cloud service from compute and storage as per business plan and requirement.
• Coordinate with other vertical department and cross function team to enable and assure project delivery with handover to operation
• Managing and supporting the team requirement from different domain such creating and managing namespace for OCP, creating and managing the instance for OSP
• Supervise all vendor responsibility and project deployment plan such project PIP and CR (Change request) preparation for project rollout.
• Engage in all activity from daytime and nighttime
• Ensuring KPI’s and SLA are set to measure contract adherence and project delivery.
• Oversee all material consumption and ensure availability when needed.
• Conduct site visit for quality assurance on data Center and arrange all access requirement to the team and vendors Participate in all RFP (Requests for Proposals) discussion and technical evaluation and ensuring best solution and system integrator and qualified.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree – IT domain or Computer science

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the telecom focusing on data center infrastructure rollout and expansion A minimum of 6 years working consecutively on Redhat OCP and OSP solution

Skills:

• Advance understanding on Redhat OCP & OSP
• Advance understanding on data center network fabric and virtualization
• Advance understanding and data center compute and storge deployment
• Excellent communication skill
• Demonstrates flexibility and creativity to adopt processes to meet changing business needs
• Ability to look at things through a wide lens, and a strong initiative to take the lead in removing roadblocks
• Demonstrate positive attitude and high level of energy
• Ability to think creatively and solve problems
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
• Advanced Knowledge of latest technologies and trends in Telecommunications industry
