Work directly with the infrastructure lead to build, operate, secure, and scale technology infrastructure for a regulated fintech platform.
This is a hands-on engineering internship involving real production infrastructure from day one.
The role offers exposure to AWS, self-hosted infrastructure, CI/CD, networking, observability, security, and real-time communication systems.
What you will do
- Help manage and improve AWS networking, RDS, IAM, secrets management, and core services.
- Deploy and maintain services on Proxmox and Coolify; configure routing, TLS, reverse proxies, and service exposure using Traefik.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve monitoring for metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and system health.
- Support LiveKit/SIP voice-service infrastructure; automate tasks with Bash/Python and infrastructure-as-code.
- Implement least-privilege access, secret hygiene, patching, and secure configuration.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident debugging and postmortems, and maintain runbooks, deployment guides, and infrastructure documentation.
Must-have qualifications
- Strong Linux fundamentals, including shell, processes, systemd, file permissions, and basic networking.
- Understanding of DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, routing, and web service communication.
- Hands-on Docker and containerized-application experience; comfortable with Git and version-controlled infrastructure or configuration.
- Ability to script in Bash or Python and basic understanding of deploying, exposing, monitoring, and maintaining modern web applications.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud platform; understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and production environments.
Additional relevant experience
- Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code familiarity is listed among the qualifications.
- CI/CD platform experience, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, is listed among the qualifications.
- Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools is listed among the qualifications.
- Familiarity with Traefik, Proxmox, Coolify, LiveKit, or SIP is listed among the qualifications.
- Prior fintech, financial services, or regulated-environment experience is listed among the qualifications.
