Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT, systems administration, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or related experience.
• Experience administering Windows systems, Entra ID identity, and Intune-managed endpoints.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Working knowledge of enterprise networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Experience with system patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently learn new technologies and progress from guided implementation to technical ownership.
• Ability to meet applicable U.S. Government and customer security requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Azure Government/GCC High experience.
• Experience with PowerShell cloud administration.
• Familiarity with CMMC, NIST, RMF, STIGs, ISO, DCSA, or similar regulated-environment requirements.
• Interest in developing toward a Deputy ISSM / system security support role.
• Microsoft Azure/M365, Security+, or comparable technical certifications.
• Experience supporting DoD, federal, or other regulated environments.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance.

• The engineer is expected to develop increasing ownership of AnaVation's cloud and infrastructure environment. The role also provides a development path toward Deputy ISSM responsibilities, including system security documentation, weekly system reviews, continuous monitoring, technical control validation, policy and procedure maintenance, assessment support, and other recurring system-security activities under the direction of the IT Manager/ISSM.
