Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Doha, Qatar, for an Information Technology Support Specialist.
The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining desktop systems, and delivering help desk support to ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure.
The specialist will also handle system updates, resolve user queries, and support internal teams with IT-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, scanner, and Microsoft Office-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Support and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network infrastructure.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and network security devices.
- Install Ruijee network switches, routers, access points, and internet connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and file servers.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, NVR systems, and monitoring solutions.
- Troubleshoot CCTV connectivity and recording issues.
- Install, configure, and support Yealink IP phones. Provide technical support for call center operations and telephony infrastructure.
- Support PBX systems, SIP trunks, IVR configuration, and call routing.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and asset tracking records. Maintain IT racks, patch panels, cable management, and labeling standards.
- Ensure proper documentation of rack layouts and connectivity.
- Provide support for CRM, DMS, booking systems, ticketing systems, and business application.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Support, System Administration.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Fortinet Firewalls, CCTV, and IP Telephony.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience supporting multi-site environments is preferred.
- Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified (M365 / Windows Server MCSA)
• Fortinet NSE Certification
- CCNA
- ITIL Foundation
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
Soft Skills
- Language: Fluent in English required. Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users and prioritize tasks under pressure.
