Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Information Technology Service Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Information Technology Service Engineer will install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems that support the company’s operations and retail locations.

Experience

with Fuji Informatics Systems is compulsory.

Responsibilities

include providing first- and second-level technical support to internal users, diagnosing and resolving IT issues, and escalating complex problems when necessary.

The role involves monitoring network performance, ensuring system security and data integrity, and performing regular backups and updates.

The IT Service Engineer will also document procedures, maintain asset records, collaborate with vendors and service providers, and support IT-related projects and rollouts in alignment with company standards.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience of working with Fuji Informatics System is mandatory
  • Strong Information Technology fundamentals, with experience in system administration, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support, including diagnosing hardware, software, and peripheral issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Proven ability to work on-site, prioritize tasks, and respond to incidents and service requests within defined service levels.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is an advantage.
