SKG Group seeks an experienced IT & Security Operations Manager for its Technology & Information team in Sydney.
This hands-on operational leadership role manages IT infrastructure and security while improving systems, processes and technology operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee IT operations, infrastructure stability, system performance and uptime.
- Manage network security, cybersecurity and IT risk initiatives.
- Oversee hardware and software procurement, asset management and lifecycle processes.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, system access and equipment allocation.
- Maintain security controls aligned with organizational, regulatory and industry requirements.
- Monitor risks, vulnerabilities and incidents and implement mitigation strategies.
- Analyze and report system performance, security, compliance and IT risk metrics.
- Lead continuous improvement and collaborate with stakeholders and the Technology & Information team.
About you
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, IT operations and network security.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, security best practices, security standards, compliance and risk frameworks.
- Experience in procurement, asset lifecycle management, user access processes and IT onboarding and offboarding.
- Experience analyzing system performance, incidents and operational data, and implementing practical risk solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and incident management skills; experience driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence reporting to senior stakeholders.
