The IT Security Analyst will strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture through security monitoring, access management, Microsoft 365 protection, network security, risk assessment, and implementation of security controls.
Key responsibilities
- Support development, implementation, and continual improvement of the cybersecurity and information security framework.
- Establish and maintain security controls for networks, systems, users, and data access.
- Manage and review configurations for firewalls, Active Directory, VPN, routers, antivirus, and Mobile Device Management.
- Review Active Directory accounts, permissions, and access privileges and recommend improvements; monitor VPN security and access policy alignment.
- Identify vulnerabilities and conduct security risk and threat assessments across access channels.
- Develop and maintain network access, password management, and secure data usage policies.
- Monitor endpoint security and antivirus platforms and coordinate resolution of security issues with the technical team.
- Assess cybersecurity risks across email systems, databases, websites, and other digital platforms.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT Security or Cybersecurity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- A relevant cybersecurity certification is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of network and endpoint security, Active Directory, firewalls, VPNs, and Microsoft 365 security.
