Role Description
The Information Technology Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization's technology infrastructure, systems, and IT operations to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient business performance.
This role oversees technology initiatives, supports digital transformation, and aligns IT strategies with organizational objectives to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, networks, cloud services, and business applications to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
The role develops IT strategies, technology roadmaps, and operational plans while evaluating new technologies to improve business capabilities and support long-term growth.
The position oversees system implementation, software deployment, infrastructure upgrades, and technology integration projects.
It collaborates with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize technology initiatives, and ensure solutions effectively support operational and strategic objectives.
The role establishes and maintains IT governance, cybersecurity controls, disaster recovery planning, data protection measures, and technology policies to safeguard organizational assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
It also monitors system performance, manages IT risks, coordinates incident resolution, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and technology partners is essential to support project delivery, optimize IT services, and implement innovative solutions.
The role also contributes to IT budgeting, resource planning, technology standards, and the adoption of best practices in information technology management.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, system administration, and IT service management.
Ability to develop and execute technology strategies aligned with business objectives.
Proficiency in enterprise applications, operating systems, cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, IT monitoring tools, project management software, and business intelligence platforms.
Familiarity with ERP systems, database management, automation technologies, and DevOps practices is an advantage.
Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, information security frameworks, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, regulatory compliance, and technology lifecycle management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical issues, optimize system performance, manage technology risks, and implement effective solutions.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, manage multiple technology initiatives, and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
Strong organizational skills, adaptability, strategic thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions.
