The IT Engineer owns company IT infrastructure end to end, including networks, servers, cloud services, endpoints, licenses, email, collaboration platforms, and security controls.

Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and document networks, servers, cloud services, email, and collaboration platforms.
- Patch systems, plan maintenance, run scheduled backups, and verify that restores work.
- Monitor capacity, performance, and licensing needs.
- Maintain endpoint protection, access management, secure configurations, and other security controls.
- Grant access only on documented need, revoke it when employment status changes, and coordinate onboarding and offboarding with HR and the Office Manager.
- Report suspected security incidents immediately and support containment and investigation.
- Provide employee support, maintain asset and license registers, manage vendors and service contracts, and procure approved equipment and services.
Requirements
- UAE national (Emirati) is stated as mandatory in the source.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
- At least 4 years of hands-on IT infrastructure and support experience; sole or small-team IT experience is ideal.
- Practical administration experience with networks, Windows, Microsoft 365 or equivalent, and cloud services.
- Working knowledge of security controls, access management, and backup and recovery; experience maintaining audit-ready asset and license registers.
- Certification such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Government or other security-conscious environment experience is an advantage.
Skills and competencies
- Network administration and troubleshooting; server, cloud, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Endpoint security, access management, patching, backup and recovery, and verified restores.
- IT asset and license management, structured documentation, and ownership.
- Patient support for non-technical colleagues, confidentiality, and early escalation of risks with a proposed plan.
