Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Requires 10–12 years of relevant information or cybersecurity experience with manager-level responsibilities.
- Strong information security experience in banking or financial services is a key requirement.
Security qualifications and skills
- Requires strong information security governance/GRC experience covering policies, standards, risk assessments, risk registers, risk acceptance or exceptions, and compliance.
- Requires hands-on UAE IA/NESA implementation, assessments, and policy/control alignment.
- Experience managing PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, and regulatory/security assessments is required.
- CISM, CRISC, CISA, and/or CISSP are described as preferred, though the qualifications section also lists them as professional/technical qualifications.
- The role calls for creative problem-solving, clear communication with senior nontechnical users, adaptability, and management of concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead information security for major technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and application projects.
- Manage security governance, regulatory requirements, assessments, and control alignment.
- Manage audit and regulatory findings through remediation and validated closure.
- Coordinate concurrent projects with IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external parties.
