Information Security Governance & Business Continuity Consultant
Role Summary Responsible for developing and maintaining the organization’s Information Security Governance and Business Continuity frameworks. Ensures compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, COBIT, and UAE regulatory standards while driving enterprise‑wide risk management, resilience, and security assurance.

Ensures compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, COBIT, and UAE regulatory standards while driving enterprise‑wide risk management, resilience, and security assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain security governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Lead information security risk assessments and maintain the risk register.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, NESA/ISR, NCEMA, and sector regulatory requirements.
- Manage BCMS activities: BIA, continuity strategies, DR planning, and crisis management.
- Conduct continuity drills, tabletop exercises, and audit readiness activities.
- Provide advisory to leadership on governance, risk, and resilience.
- Prepare dashboards, compliance reports, and governance KPIs/KRIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Information Security, IT, or related field.
- 5–10 years in Information Security Governance, GRC, or Business Continuity.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST CSF, COBIT, ITIL, and UAE frameworks.
- Experience with audits, BIAs, risk assessments, and policy development.
Preferred Certifications
ISO 27001 LI/LA, ISO 22301 LI/LA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, ITIL, CBCI/DRII.
