Role Description
This is an on-site contract role based in Abu Dhabi for an Information Security position.
Responsibilities
include implementing and managing information security measures, overseeing cybersecurity initiatives, maintaining application security, ensuring network security, and enforcing data privacy standards.
The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and protection against emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Application Security and Information Security Management
- Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Network Security measures
- Understanding of Data Privacy standards and regulations
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and mitigate risks
- Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Prior experience in a security-focused role within government or corporate settings is a plus
