About the Role
We are seeking a proactive
Senior Information Security Awareness Officer
to strengthen our organization’s security culture.
You will develop and deliver engaging security awareness programs, training sessions, and phishing simulations to educate employees and stakeholders on information security risks and compliance requirements.
This role requires collaboration across departments and with external partners to enhance the organization’s overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage the organization’s information security awareness programs.
- Develop and deliver engaging training materials and resources for employees.
- Conduct onboarding and offboarding security awareness training.
- Create phishing simulations and assess results to improve employee vigilance.
- Monitor, measure, and report the effectiveness of security awareness programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for security initiatives and events.
- Serve as a point of contact for security-related queries and guidance.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry trends to incorporate into programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s in Information Security, IT, or related field.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum 3+ years in information security or related roles, with experience developing and delivering awareness programs.
- **Skills:**
- Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creative in developing engaging training content
- Familiarity with security awareness platforms and tools (e.g., KnowBe4 LMS)
Preferred
- Security awareness training certifications
- Experience with LMS platforms and training program analytics
- Background in training or education roles
