About the client

The client is described as a global leader in biosolutions.

Role purpose

Provide technical support to customers in grain processing, distilling, and bioenergy across the Middle East and Africa.

The individual-contributor role supports product adoption, technical performance, and innovation-led growth.

Technical service and product launches

  • Troubleshoot customer issues and support optimal product use and performance in grain processing, distilling, and biofuel production.
  • Lead technical onboarding and field implementation for product launches across the region.
  • Coordinate trials, generate technical data, and support commercial teams with launches.

Innovation and training

  • Drive regional innovation projects with application teams and customers, focusing on process optimization, efficiency, and value addition.
  • Train internal teams, distributors, and customers through technical sessions and workshops.

Market and cross-functional work

  • Track industry trends, technology advances, and customer needs to inform development strategies and the commercial roadmap.
  • Work with sales, marketing, regulatory, and R&D teams to align technical activities with commercial objectives.

Education and experience

  • Degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least five years of technical experience in grain processing, distilling, ethanol production, or related industries.

Technical qualifications

  • Strong understanding of fermentation or distillery operations, enzymatic processes, milling technologies, or biofuel applications.
  • Able to lead field trials, analyze technical data, and turn findings into actionable solutions.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the Middle East and Africa.

Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to work independently.
  • Project management and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
