Who you are
- Detailed Knowledge of driving and improving safety culture within a high-risk organisation.
- Knowledge of HSE regulatory framework, and UK safety legislation relevant to Nuclear Power Station Operations and site licence requirements.
- Knowledge of key industrial safety risks present within nuclear power stations and of applicable control measures to mitigate risks.
- Knowledge of company safety management system and associated industrial safety standards, specifications and guidelines in place to provide safe systems of working within the power station environment.
- Knowledge of safety auditing & monitoring processes.
- Ability to positively challenge and coach.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Any Applicant with a NEBOSH Certificate and/or a Demonstrable proven track record of influencing Safety Culture within a High-Risk organisation will have a distinct advantage.
- Closing date for applications is Wednesday November 4th, and interviews will take place week mid to late November
- To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last 3 years.
