Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Indian Chef located in Jeddah.
The Indian Chef will be responsible for preparing traditional and contemporary Indian dishes, designing innovative menus, and ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
The role involves maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, sourcing fresh and authentic Indian ingredients, and managing food inventory and supplies.
The chef will also collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Indian cuisine, including knowledge of traditional recipes, regional flavors, and modern culinary techniques
- Experience in food preparation, presentation, and menu design
- Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management standards
- Strong organizational skills, including maintaining food inventory and managing kitchen supplies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Professional culinary training or certification is preferred
- Previous experience as an Indian Chef in a restaurant or catering environment is an advantage
- Keen attention to detail, creativity in menu creation, and passion for Indian cuisine
