We are looking for outstanding teachers who are excited to join our world-class schools and are driven to provide education at an exceptional level.
GEMS teachers enjoy an enriching school environment in which to deliver a dynamic and creative curriculum to motivated students.
We are interested in teachers with CBSE/ICSE/IB school teaching experience.
Qualifications
FS/ KG - Bachelors in Arts along with a 2 year Montessori / 2 years - ECCE
(None of the above degrees must be through distance, correspondence or from an open university)
Primary / Middle - Bachelors in Arts / Science along with Bachelors in Education, both degrees in the same teaching subject
Example - BA + B.Ed or B.Sc + B.Ed
(None of the above degrees must be through distance, correspondence or from an open university)
Senior School
- Bachelors & Masters in Arts or Science along with Bachelors in Education, degrees should be in the same teaching subject
- Example - BA & MA + B.Ed or B.Sc & M.Sc + B.Ed
- (None of the above degrees must be through distance, correspondence or from an open university)
- Specialist subjects teachers such as Dance, Music, Physical Education, Special Education Needs, Art, ICT etc will require a specialist qualification in the teaching subject.
- 2 years of school teaching experience required for all of the above.
- KG (Sharjah only)
- Bachelors in Arts/ Science + Bachelor of Education + 1 year diploma in Early Years/Montessori (None of the above degrees must be through distance, correspondence or from an open university)

The teaching subject & qualification should match.
Experience Of The CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE And IB Curriculum Is Preferred.
A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
An excellent team player both within the department and across phases
Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
Good command of English
All positions offer an excellent remuneration package.
Candidates who are successful in the interview process will be required to provide Police Clearance Certificate from all countries/locations where you have previously worked.
