The Income Auditor supports the financial success of the hotel by ensuring revenue records are accurate and controls are effective.
The position is at voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in central Doha.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Audit daily revenue transactions from all hotel outlets for accuracy and completeness.
- Review and reconcile sales reports, cash collections, credit card transactions, and revenue postings.
- Verify supporting documents, adjustments, discounts, rebates, and complimentary transactions.
- Prepare daily revenue reports and provide accurate financial information to management.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
- Maintain organized records and support month-end closing activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in Income Audit, Night Audit, or a similar accounting role; hotel experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel revenue operations, accounting procedures, and financial controls.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with accuracy under deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel accounting systems are preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with different departments.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required, including month-end closing periods.
