Qualifications

  • Hours are M-F 7 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. Hours are subject to change pending business conditions.
  • This position does not require any DOT related pre-screenings.
  • Nice to Have:
  • A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
  • Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
  • No DOT requirements for the req
  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience working with power generation products High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience

Responsibilities

  • In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
  • High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
  • Startup and repair of bypass transfer switch.
  • Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation. Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Power Generation / Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
