Responsibilities

  • Delivers food and beverage orders to guest rooms according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Also assists in the maintenance of the Room Service area and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
  • State minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • ServSafe and/or food safety training.
  • Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
