Role overview
The Frankston North Education Plan is a 10-year Victorian Government initiative supporting learning and life outcomes for children, young people, and families.
The plan involves Aldercourt Primary School, Mahogany Rise Primary School, and Monterey Secondary College.
The Project Manager completes the transition from department-led to schools-led project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the operational link between the department and the three schools involved in the plan.
- Manage stakeholders, monitor progress, report on delivery, and provide secretariat support.
- Develop simple case histories to evaluate and demonstrate family impact, as needed.
- Handle other high-priority requests as they arise.
Attributes and qualifications
- Write clear plain-English reports, updates, and correspondence summarising progress, issues, and next steps.
- Build trust and work alongside school principals, teachers, and community groups.
- Keep projects on track, run efficient meetings, and manage a budget.
- Bring strong people skills, flexibility, adaptability, organisation, policy interpretation, and clear written communication.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
