Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering by May 2027.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and desire to build a career as a people leader.
- Mobility within the continental United States for at least three years to accept assignments at IGNITE program facilities, which may including Addison, IL; Bethlehem, PA; Chesapeake, VA; Cookeville, TN; Dallas, TX; Hastings, NE; Kalamazoo, MI; Lynchburg, VA; Pasadena, TX; Raleigh, NC; Springville, UT; and Taneytown, MD.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
- Flowserve is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa now or in the future.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Motivation to develop business and leadership skills while working on operational and business critical projects and solutions.
- Strong organization and work/project planning skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Zero to two years of relevant work experience, which can include internships or co-op experience.
- Comfort working with ambiguity.
- Understanding of data collection and analytics, with the ability to report findings.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Basic coding experience with Python, Java, C/C++, SQL, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes.
- Experience with project management tools or methods such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Experience leading teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Understanding of basic business principles.
Preferred Qualifications
