How You’ll Contribute As a Strategic Risk Management - Senior Manager , you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and analyse risk themes, gaps, and systemic issues across our business that may impact the Firm.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to determine key risks, issues and ways to improve risk processes.
  • Support the translation of identified risk themes into firm‑wide principles, frameworks, and practical initiatives.
  • Act as a problem‑solver and enabler, supporting the consistent and effective application of risk, compliance, and quality standards across the firm.
  • Apply sound judgement when supporting the application of risk frameworks to real scenarios, including live engagements and firm initiatives, balancing commercial considerations with firm standards.
  • Apply strong working knowledge of the engagement lifecycle, including client acceptability, continuance, compliance and quality review processes, and engagement risk escalation.
  • Own and maintain, or support the ownership and maintenance of, operational tools, trackers, and guidance materials used by engagement teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Identify, analyse, and support the resolution of complex risk and governance issues, applying structured judgement in ambiguous situations.
  • Work closely with Directors, Partners, and Senior Leadership to translate complex risk and policy requirements into practical, actionable guidance.
  • Lead or support special projects and ad‑hoc strategic risk initiatives assigned to the Strategic Risk Management team.

What You’ll Bring Education

  • A professional or academic qualification (degree level or equivalent), or relevant and practical experience.

Language

  • Fluency in English required, proficiency in Arabic is advantageous

Overall Experience

  • Significant experience within a professional services firm or consulting environment, including Consulting, Deals and/or Tax.
  • 8+ years of experience in professional services in a client-facing role or internal risk management

Specific Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of the engagement lifecycle, including client acceptability, continuance, compliance, engagement delivery, and quality review/assurance processes.
  • Experience leading or supporting risk, compliance, or quality initiatives at firm or portfolio level.
  • Demonstrated experience applying risk frameworks to live engagements and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience working with senior leadership in a complex, matrixed organisation
