ICT/ELV Project Engineer / Lead

Role overview

Project delivery and coordination

• Lead ELV installation from mobilization to completion and guide technicians and site teams in daily work.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, project teams, and the estimation/design team.
• Review drawings, scope, BOQs, and technical requirements; plan and allocate daily and weekly site activities.
• Survey sites, identify constraints and requirements, and monitor progress, manpower, materials, and site needs.
• Coordinate material requirements with Operations/Procurement and verify delivered equipment against approved requirements.

Installation, testing, and handover

• Supervise installation of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, intercom, gate barriers, and other ELV systems to approved drawings and requirements.
• Coordinate SIRA-related CCTV requirements, inspections, and approvals.
• Perform or supervise testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, cable termination, labeling, equipment installation, and system configuration.
• Prepare progress and site reports, testing records, as-built drawings, and project documentation; conduct demonstrations and support handover.
• Resolve technical issues, communicate progress and delays to management, and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure site activities comply with HSE and company requirements; perform other project-related duties assigned by management.

Technical requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of ELV and ICT systems and good knowledge of CCTV and SIRA requirements.
• Experience with access control, structured cabling, intercom, and gate barrier systems.
• Basic to good knowledge of IP networking, PoE, switches, NVRs, and network infrastructure.
• Ability to read ELV drawings, layouts, schematics, and BOQs; troubleshoot systems; and test, commission, and hand over ELV systems.
• Good understanding of project execution and site coordination.

Qualifications and experience

• 3–5 years of relevant ELV/ICT project experience.
• SIRA certification or relevant SIRA experience is mandatory.
• A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• A diploma or degree in electrical, electronics, IT, networking, or a related technical field is preferred.
• UAE experience and experience leading technicians and site teams are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai ELV project requirements and site practices.

Pay

• AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
