Role Description
This is a part-time, fully remote role for IB, MYP and IGCSE tutors specialising in maths, chemistry, Russian and English.
The role involves delivering one-on-one personalised tutoring sessions based on structured academic blueprints, assisting with exam preparation, devising effective revision strategies, and providing targeted guidance to help students achieve top marks.
Tutors will also assess academic progress, prepare tailored learning materials, and align their teaching methods to the goals and needs of high-performing students.
Qualifications & Requirements
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in maths, physics, chemistry, or English, aligned with IB, MYP, IGCSE, and other international curricula.
- Proficiency in creating tailored learning plans, delivering focused one-on-one instruction, and applying exam strategies effectively.
- Commitment to providing structured guidance that supports measurable academic progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant subject area; advanced degrees or certifications in related disciplines are a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a school offering an IB or IGCSE curriculum.
- Bachelor’s or master's degree in a relevant subject field (education degree preferred).
- Strong understanding of international assessment criteria. IB frameworks.
- Strong English proficiency (written & spoken)
- Familiarity with global education standards and student-centred pedagogy.
- Professional online teaching setup – stable connection, webcam, etc.
- Additional advantage if you are:
- IB Examiner / Workshop Leader / IB Category certified
- Holding a PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience with IA / EE frameworks
- Experienced with international school systems or online IB tutoring
