Role Description
Golden Offshore Marine Industries LLC is seeking a full-time Hydro Blaster for an on-site role located in Abu Dhabi.
The Hydro Blaster will be responsible for operating high-pressure water jet machines to clean surfaces such as ship hulls, steel structures, and other equipment.
Day-to-day duties include preparing work areas, handling equipment safely, maintaining the machinery, and adhering to safety protocols.
The role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and effective collaboration with team members to ensure the cleanliness and quality of finished surfaces.
Qualifications
- Experience with operating high-pressure hydro blasting equipment and understanding of related safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of surface preparation methods and techniques, especially for marine industry applications.
- Skills in equipment maintenance, including basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and functionality checks.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including handling heavy tools and working in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning and compliance with industry standards.
- Teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Previous experience in marine or industrial cleaning is an advantage.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with technical certifications being a plus.
