Role overview
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the hotel's air-conditioning systems and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out emergency repairs and adjustments to air-conditioning equipment and machines.
- Respond promptly to trouble reports and day-to-day problems.
- Perform routine and planned preventive maintenance according to schedule.
- Know the hotel's HVAC layout; use resources economically and follow safety practices.
- Recommend repairs and perform work needed to complete them.
- Carry out statutory and safety checks as instructed.
- Immediately report equipment faults to the supervisor.
- Maintain relevant log sheets and notify the supervisor when jobs are complete.
Qualifications
- At least 3–5 years of experience in the same role.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency using HVAC tools and equipment.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Physical ability to handle equipment and work in challenging environments.
