- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for HVAC-related work, coordinating with general contractors, other trades, and internal leadership
- Review, interpret, and execute work in accordance with blueprints, specifications, submittals, and project documentation
- Ensure proper jobsite setup, material staging, equipment usage, and housekeeping
- Coordinate material needs, track deliveries, and ensure timely submission of packing slips, receipts, and documentation
- Enforce all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and site-specific safety plans
- Conduct routine jobsite inspections to verify compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications
- Train, mentor, and develop HVAC Helpers and Technicians, supporting skill advancement and professional growth
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment among crew members
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements, efficiency gains, and cost control on projects
- Collaborate with other foremen, supervisors, and project managers to resolve issues and implement best practices
- Act as a liaison between the jobsite and management to ensure alignment on project expectations and outcomes
- Consistently embody and promote the values, mission, and safety culture of Ames Construction and Ames Mechanical
