Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an HVAC Design Engineer located in Dubai.
The role involves designing HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings, preparing technical drawings, and performing calculations and equipment selections.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors to ensure projects meet technical specifications, energy efficiency goals, and regulatory standards.
Additional responsibilities include conducting site visits, troubleshooting design-related issues during project execution, and ensuring project timelines are met efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HVAC system design, heat load calculations, and equipment selection
- Experience with preparing technical drawings and layouts using software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, ducting, piping, and airflow principles
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting design-related issues on-site
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors and consultants
- Strong communication skills for effectively explaining technical concepts and requirements
- Understanding of energy efficiency standards and regulatory compliance within the UAE
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Relevant experience in HVAC design and project execution; experience in the UAE market is a plus
