Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Assistant role based in Doha, Qatar.
The HVAC Assistant will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems under the guidance of senior technicians.
Daily tasks include assisting with equipment setup, checking and cleaning filters, ducts, and vents, and helping diagnose basic mechanical or electrical issues.
The role also involves safely handling tools and materials, following maintenance schedules, documenting work performed, and ensuring work areas are kept clean and organized.
The HVAC Assistant will collaborate with facility and store teams to minimize disruption to operations while maintaining comfortable and safe indoor environments.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and follow technical instructions or work orders.
- Strong attention to safety procedures, including compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Good physical stamina to lift, carry, and move equipment and work in varying environmental conditions.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow direction from senior technicians and supervisors.
- Previous experience in HVAC, building maintenance, or a related trade is preferred but not required.
- Vocational training, technical certification, or coursework in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site full-time in Doha, Qatar, including occasional evenings or weekends as operational needs require.
