We are looking for a highly skilled
Design Engineer – Electrical (HV Substations)
to join our team at
AZIZI Developments
.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-voltage electrical system designs and ensuring all technical submittals meet stringent regulatory and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive HV electrical system designs, drawings, and calculations.
- Perform detailed load analysis, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
- Ensure all designs remain in strict compliance with
DEWA
- and international standards (IEC).
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide technical support for tendering, including submittals and obtaining necessary approvals.

- **Education**
- : Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- **Experience**
- : 5–8 years of proven experience in HV design, specifically focused on substations, cabling, and switchgear.
- **Technical Knowledge**
- : Deep understanding of
DEWA
- regulations and IEC standards.
- **Software Proficiency**
- : Mastery of AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, and other relevant design tools.
- **Skills**
- : Strong mathematical, presentation, and communication skills are essential for this role.
- **Language**
- : Proficiency in English.
