Role Description
The Human Resources Manager at AFG Assurances B茅nin Vie will oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations in a full-time remote capacity.
This role includes developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards, and supporting leadership with workforce planning and organizational development.
The Human Resources Manager will manage compensation and benefits processes, coordinate training and development initiatives, and promote a positive, inclusive work culture.
The role also involves maintaining accurate HR records, using HRIS tools to analyze data, and providing guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Strong skills in policy development, HR compliance, and application of labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with HRIS and related digital tools for data management, reporting, and process optimization.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across remote teams.
- Ability to design and implement training, development, and change management initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Proven experience managing compensation, benefits, and HR administration with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification is an asset.
- Experience working in insurance or financial services is beneficial, as well as prior remote or multinational team experience.
