Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Human Resources Director at Vida & Prosperidade Corretora de Seguros.

The Human Resources Director will lead the HR function, designing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational goals and a positive employee experience.

Daily responsibilities include overseeing HR policies and procedures, managing recruitment and onboarding processes, supporting performance management cycles, and guiding managers on employee relations matters.

The role will ensure compliance with labor and employment laws, maintain accurate HR documentation, and collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.

The Human Resources Director will also champion diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, drive HR process improvements, and use HR data to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong Human Resources (HR) generalist background, including experience leading HR initiatives and teams.
  • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR Policies aligned with organizational goals and local regulations.
  • Expertise in Employee Relations, with the ability to handle conflict resolution, engagement initiatives, and sensitive issues with discretion.
  • Experience with Performance Management processes, including goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and development planning.
  • Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law, with demonstrated experience ensuring compliance in HR practices and decisions.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change in a remote work environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and respectful workplace practices.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; advanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are a plus.
