Role overview
Hiring a full-time Human Resources Coordinator for the Timmins Operations – Timmins West Mine team in Timmins, Ontario.
The role supports HR services and systems, particularly employee relations.
This is an existing vacancy; the successful candidate may begin as soon as possible.
Relocation to the Timmins area is required; this is not a camp-based position.
Schedule
- Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, or 4 days on and 3 days off, 10 hours per day.
Compensation
- Base salary is $85,000 to $100,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of HR services and systems and help develop systems and coordinate processes.
- Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and development to the HR Generalist.
- Support supervisors with staffing, performance reviews, attendance, employee concerns, and compensation issues.
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, employment standards, laws, and regulations to management and staff.
- Advise on employee relations, corrective action, workplace investigations, accommodations, and policy application.
- Promote company culture and values and train employees on policies and procedures.
- Coordinate talent acquisition, including job postings, career fairs, recruitment events, and online recruitment.
Requirements
- Relocation to the Timmins area is required; the position is not camp-based.
- The role supports site operations supervisors on staffing, performance reviews, attendance management, employee concerns, and compensation matters.
- The position provides day-to-day supervision, guidance, and development to an HR Generalist.
