Role overview

Typical responsibilities

• Develop annual HSE improvement plans aligned with company, client, and business-unit objectives.
• Manage project interface requirements, maintain compliance with interface documents, and develop future plans; communicate requirements to personnel.
• Support incident investigations and reporting, coordinate audits, and share lessons learned from incidents and accidents.
• Report deficiencies and record reportable issues in company action-tracking and incident-reporting systems.
• Maintain communicated emergency response arrangements aligned with client requirements where applicable.
• Liaise with client HSE representatives and site safety representatives; coordinate participation in HSE meetings, workshops, and forums.
• Monitor HSE performance, develop site visit programmes, and promote workforce participation in HSE activities.

Experience and qualifications

• C&G, ONC/HNC, or equivalent qualification in a technical, HSE, or related industry.
• NEBOSH Certificate required; NVQ Level 4 IOSH is desirable.
• 2–5 years in a technical role or association with an HSE role in another industry.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, good planning and organisation, competent MS Office use, and effective written and spoken communication.
