Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site HSE Trainer role based in Dubai.

The HSE Trainer will design, prepare, and deliver health, safety, and environmental training programs aligned with international standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities

include conducting classroom and practical training sessions, developing training materials and assessments, and adapting content for different industries and job roles.

The role involves assessing training needs, evaluating learner performance, and providing constructive feedback to help participants meet competency and compliance expectations.

The HSE Trainer will also support the development of new training modules, maintain accurate training records, and collaborate with inspection and certification teams to ensure course content reflects current regulations, best practices, and C I B Mars procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Health & Safety concepts, with practical experience applying HSE principles in industrial or high-risk environments.
  • Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH (e.g., IGC or equivalent), and familiarity with relevant international standards and local regulations.
  • Demonstrated Training and Safety Training skills, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and delivery of both classroom and practical sessions.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences, facilitate discussions, and present complex topics clearly.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, toolbox talks, and safety briefings is an advantage.
  • Ability to tailor training to multiple sectors (e.g., construction, logistics, oil & gas, manufacturing) and different workforce levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for preparing presentations, reports, and training documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in safety culture and training quality.
