Overview
We are hiring an experienced **HSE/Safety Officer** to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our project sites.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction, contracting, or warehouse environments and a solid understanding of UAE HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain a safe working environment
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Review and approve subcontractor safety plans
- Ensure tools and equipment meet safety standards
- Promote safe work practices and enforce HSE policies
- Prepare and implement health and safety plans
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with site teams
- Maintain HSE reports, records, and documentation
- Monitor emergency response procedures and conduct drills
Requirements
- Minimum **3–5 years of experience** as an HSE/Safety Officer
- Experience in **construction, contracting, or warehouse** environments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in **Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field**
Mandatory Certifications
- **NEBOSH (MOFA Attested)**
- IOSH / OSHA or equivalent
UAE Compliance Requirements (Mandatory)
- Due to recent UAE regulatory requirements, candidates must provide:
- **MOFA Attested Police Clearance Certificate**
- **MOFA Attested Educational Certificates**
- **Certificate Equivalency (Equalization Certificate) in UAESkills**
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws and safety standards
- Risk assessment and hazard identification expertise
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office
Additional Requirements
- **Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)**
- Must be able to **commute or relocate to Dubai** before joining
